DD-SS Update

Posted in General, DDR, Flash by T on the December 29th, 2005

I finally updated my Dance Dance Sweat Sweat page. It’s been long neglected and I’ve definitely got to get back into it. The holidays are getting the best of me and i don’t really like it. I think that i’m going to create a Flash app tracking my progress. I figure it will help me twice, get me off my butt and into better shape and give me a project to hone my Flash skills upon. I’ve been trying to get more work done with Flash 8 and wrapping my mind around ActionScript 3 and this might be just the project. Hopefully I won’t let this slide by, my health and my work skills are too important.

Merry Christmas

Posted in General, News!! by T on the December 25th, 2005

to all and to all a good nite! I just wanted to wish everyone a great christmas and I hope that everyone is having or had a great holiday season. I”m having a good christmas, doing some holiday tech support and being thankful for my friends and family.

I’m really a lucky guy and at times it hits me how fortunate i’ve been in life and i just really want to make sure that i don’t forget how luck i am. On a more materialistic side of things, my favorite christmas gift is the 2 tickets i recieved for the 49ers-Texans football game on the 1st!!!!! I’m sooo excited and looking forward to the game:-) I’m a lucky bastard at times.

Utterly Insane

Posted in General, News!!, Video Games by T on the December 21st, 2005

I was looking over my google homepage which has the espn rss feed and i see that Kobe Bryant scored 62 points. I was like damn, and then i read further and see that he scored 62 in 3 FRICKIN quarters! That’s ridculous, it’s a playstation number, almost pure fantasy. I was just so amused with it all, the best part about it was that it was against a top notch team. The Dalla Mavricks aren’t a defensive powerhouse but they are a very good team and with Avery Johnson as their coach they have gotten better. How impressive was Kobe’s performance? Here’s Phil Jackson’s take:

I’ve seen a few 60-point ballgames in my time, but none of them had been done by the third quarter.

This coming from the guy that coached Michael Jordan! I really wish that i had gotten the chance to watch this game on tv. Instead i was doing work for my old job. Right now, in what was originally planned to be my vacation time, i’m working the equivalent of 2 full time jobs, but you know what? I don’t mind it…plus I’m think that the financial fallout from all the work will be a pretty good way to start the new year.

Speaking of the holiday season, happy early merry holiday celebration to everyone and a good new year’s to all. I’m not quite sure how i’m going to celebrate the new year’s since it will be 9 here when it’s my usual time to celebrate. Well i’m sure that I will think of something.

I mentioned Google Analytics the other day and i wanted to comment on it again while i was thinking about it. I really love being able to see who is viewing my site (my actual site, not my LJ mirror) and seeing when they visit and what they look at. Everyone please feel free to leave comments, I want to eventually expand this site and create a tiny nook on the Web that draws some sort of audience:-)

Well time to play a little X-men Legends II on psp while heading to sleep

Da Cure-all

Posted in General, DDR by T on the December 18th, 2005

So i’ve been feeling crappy right? All week I’ve been coughing, wheezying, running nose, the whole nine yards. The Cure-all you ask? DDR!! I’ve been playing for about the last 3 hrs and i feel great. Who knew that Konami had the cure to what ails ya?:-) Well i just hope that the good feeling is here to stay…i hate feeling sick. Well i hope that everyone else is doing ok. Eventually I have to make a post about just how cool Google Analytics is. I can track who visits my site, and i’ve gotten some hits from Norway and Japan and Canada which is all pretty cool.
