A mixed bag day..
today has been a mixed bag. I had a deadline at work, which i met after busting my butt all day. Score one for me! Later today, i had my 90 day performance review. It went very well, so well in fact i got a raise!! Score another one for me:-)…I’m just glad that i’m doing good work and that people actually appreciate it. That’s so different from my old job, don’t get my wrong..the guys that i worked with knew how much i busted my butt and the good work that i did, but not the powers that be.
So onto the bad news portion of my day. I hit a deer on my way back home. I’m fairly current that I killed it, poor deer. I tried my best to swerve around it but it ran into my car, taking out my left headlight and messing up my hood in the process. I couldn’t tell when i got home but i’m hoping that it didn’t do any more serious damage. Lucky i got that raise huh? I really can’t afford a new car at the moment, so hopefully it will be a relatively cheap fix.
Well that was my day…not an exciting update…except for that whole raise part;-)!
