FURminator

Posted in General, Stoli by T on the February 24th, 2008

Today I purchased a Furminator for Stoli. As always with things i see advertised on tv, I was skeptical it would work anything near as well as it was advertised. Well after today’s first session with it let me say how surprised I am about its performance. Since Stoli’s a mix his hair doesn’t get quite as tangled as a full-bodied wolfhound and it tends to be a little shortish, however the Furminator tool took off sooo much loose hair! I was definitely amazed. Well worth the investment!

Isn’t it an amazing tool? Just be careful to be gentle, lots of people push too hard and irritate the skin.

That thing usually gets several cats worth of fur off Kayne, a bit less of Mali though. ;)

Yea,being gentle was the one thing that i made sure i was doing. It’s really hard with Stoli since he’s pretty stoic towards pain. Overall, I think that i did a good job thou, and now he’s more aerodynamic and sleek;-)
